Global warming potential (GWP)

As per the Clean Energy Regulator, global warming potential (GWP) values allow us to compare the impact of different greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Eden Suite uses GWP values for calculating emissions for greenhouse gases related to activities with hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) (such as medical gases and refrigerants).

Many of the medical gases and refrigerants have alternate names they are referenced by; some are blends composed of multiple gases.

The following table provides some of those composition percentages and alternate names for reference.
