Emission Factors

Description

The Emission Factors report lists all emission factors from all available emission factor sets, group by emission factor type and sub-type.

It can be accessed under Reports > All Reports … > Registers > Emission Factors

A separate tab is provided for each of the factor types (and sub-type, if applicable):

• AirTravel (AIR_TRAVEL_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• CoalMining (COAL_MINING_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Electricity (ELECTRICITY_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• General (GENERAL_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• GWP (GWP_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Paper (PAPER_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Scope3NaturalGas (SCOPE_3_NATURAL_GAS_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Solid (SOLID_LIQUID_GAS_EMISSION_FACTOR; sub-type = SOLID)
• Liquid (SOLID_LIQUID_GAS_EMISSION_FACTOR; sub-type = LIQUID)
• Gas (SOLID_LIQUID_GAS_EMISSION_FACTOR; sub-type = GAS)
• Transport (SOLID_LIQUID_GAS_EMISSION_FACTOR; sub-type = TRANSPORT)
• StaffTravel (STAFF_TRAVEL_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Scope 3 Supply Chain (SCOPE_3_SUPPLY_CHAIN_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• TaxiTravel (TAXI_TRAVEL_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Waste (WASTE_EMISSION_FACTOR)
• Water (WATER_EMISSION_FACTOR)

Columns common to all tabs:

• Emission Factor Set Name
• Emission Factor Set ID (used in Configuration DM template by Administration users)
• Emission Factor Set Source (A description or URL of the original factor source. Documents will be archived and hosted on the Help site)
• Emission Factor Set Note (Any additional information about the factor set)
• Emission Factor Set Type Code
• Emission Factor Set Sub-Type Code
• Emission Factor Note (Any additional information about the emission factor)

Additional columns specific to each factor type are included in each tab.

Two additional tabs are included as references to support Scope 3 Supply Chain data capture:

• Scope3CalcMethods: lists the available options.
• Scope3Categories: (as per Scope3Categories tab in Activity Register) lists the available options.
