The current FRD 24 report reflects the requirements of the Victorian Government Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) for the “e” iteration.

The report is run by selecting an organisation hierarchy and a month range; the results include data for the nominated month range plus parallel ranges for the two previous years.

Note that activity emissions calculations use the factor for the activity’s factor_scope, but the activity consideration and placement in the report is based on the activity’s report_scope.

The resulting Excel workbook report consists of multiple tabs:

• FRD24 Report – chapters (blue headings), sections (grey headings) and line items contain a mixture of activity listings, sub-totals, attribute totals, normalisers, and normalised values.
  Not all line items will be populated for each tenant as blank rows may be omitted.
  Select a chapter for further information on how the line items are formulated:

• BaseData – contains the activity data the report is based on with columns for month range; activity report scope, factor scope, and unit; allocated quantity, cost and t CO₂-e; and allocated MJ if appropriate.
• GreenhouseGases – contains the greenhouse gas breakdown values (carbon dioxide CO₂, methane CH₄, nitrous oxide N₂O) for any activity with report scope  = 1 (the calculator linked to the activity determines whether or not greenhouse gas breakdown values are stored).
• RPPData – contains the data for any activity linked to the Comprehensive Electricity calculator that has gigajoules metrics, and is not otherwise captured in  activities in Configuration tab code = FRD24_TRANSPORT_ELEC_COUNTED_IMPLICITLY_IN_EL1_PURCHASED
  e.g. excludes road / non-road non-public / non-private transport electricity activities that are indirectly counted via electricity meters and captured elsewhere
  e.g. excludes Electricity for Non-Road Vehicles from Victorian Government Facilities, Electricity for Road Vehicles from Victorian Government Facilities
• Normalisers – totals for each relevant normaliser in the month range on active relationships with the selected organisation hierarchy
• GenCapacity – the attribute values for Battery kWh, Battery kWp, Cogen kWp, Diesel kWp, Gasoline kWp, LPG kWp, Solar kWp for devices linked to assets in a relationship with an organisation in the selected organisation hierarchy
• Configuration – the line item codes and the activities, normalisers, or attributes linked to each of them
• Factors – details of the emission factor sets and factor values in use for activities with data in the FRD report
