Production of energy is an Activity, as is the production of waste.<\/div>\n<div class=\"pre-requisites\">\n<h2>Pre-requisites<\/h2>\n<p><a class=\"show_hide\" href=\"#\">Show\/Hide<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"slidingDiv\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"?page_id=91\">Resources<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Description<\/h2>\n<p>In your EDMS an Activity is any action that produces environmental data.\u00a0 Consumption of energy, fuel and resources are all activities.\u00a0 Production of energy is an Activity, as is the production of waste.<\/p>\n<p>[videoplayer height=&#8221;373px&#8221; width=&#8221;620px&#8221; file=&#8221;http:\/\/training.edensuite.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Activities.mov&#8221; \/]<\/p>\n<p class=\"video-caption\">Activities Instructional Video<\/p>\n<h2>Creating an Activity<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"steps\">\n<li>Navigate to Admin and select \u2018Activity&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>To create a new Activity you must first select an Activity Group.<\/li>\n<li>Select an existing Activity Group or, click on \u2018Add\u2019 to create a new Activity Group.<\/li>\n<li>With your Activity Group selected, click on \u2018Add\u2019 in the Activities window.<\/li>\n<li>Enter a name and description for your Activity.<\/li>\n<li>Select the Report Scope for your activity. This will determine where your Activity Usage Data will sit in your GHG Inventory.<br \/>\nSelect the Factor Scope for your activity. This will determine which factor is used to calculate the GHG emissions.<\/li>\n<li>Select the appropriate Calculation Method, this will be applied to raw Usage Data for this Activity.<\/li>\n<li>Specify a Fuel Type associated with this Activity.<\/li>\n<li>Select the Unit of Measure.<\/li>\n<li>Select the Resource from the drop down list.<\/li>\n<li>If the Activity is an Offset, check the Offset box.<\/li>\n<li>Select a Master Activity if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>To customise your Activity Pedigree Priorities, use the tabs along the top of the window.\u00a0 The system will use default configurations if these are not edited.<\/li>\n<li>Select \u2018Update\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>To create Activity Calculator Configurations or Indicators, use the buttons next to the activity. If the activity&#8217;s calculator requires an emission factor to determine the emissions, a calculator configuration must be created and any mandatory inputs specified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In your EDMS an Activity is any action that produces environmental data.
